Can you have double coverage through VSP Vision?
No, I mean if covered through my husband, could I sign up @ my work & have twice the coverage?
If what you mean is that you have VSP through your work and also your husband has VSP at his place of employment and he has you covered on his plan as a family member —- then YES you can use both plans. You cannot file a single exam or a single pair of glasses on each plan though. You would be able to get one examination through one plan and then another examination through the other. This would require you to pay two separate copays, though. You could also file one pair of glasses through one plan and then get a separate pair of glasses through the other for a total of two pairs. You would though have to pay out of pocket on each pair of glasses according to the guidelines of each individual plan. So, what I am saying is you couldn’t combine the benefits on a single exam and glasses. You could though pay for two separate exams and two separate pairs of glasses.
