What is the average % increase to be expected with a promotional opportunity ?
Internally it seems as if companies always want to play this “percentage game” where they cite internal policy as only allowing them to grant you a certain %…However its hard to believe that the current Directors/VPs of the company tolerated this same maltreatment to be at the place they are now…Is this a tride and true policy ? Any insight into this ? What is a reasonable % increase when taking a promotional opportunity internally ?
3 to 5 % is a reasonable increase in pay.
