Vpn Hosting

I ve 2003 active directory vpn and VmWare on my laptop. I log in to vpn from host but cant log remotely. WHY?
I cant login from other side of internet to my vpn server
because your prob. using the internal ip address 192.168.whatever. Try using the ip assigned by your isp. Is it on a router or what?
